Biography

Hunter Parrish practices in many areas of Business Law, Energy Law, and Construction Law from transactional matters to commercial litigation. Additionally, Mr. Parrish's experience in the litigation of numerous transactional matters has provided him with practical insight into the preparation of a variety of transactional agreements. Mr. Parrish's extensive commercial litigation experience includes serving as the attorney of record (attorney in charge) in over 200 commercial litigation cases in state district and county courts at law, as well as, appearances in all four federal districts in Texas. Mr. Parrish has successfully negotiated settlements in over 100 commercial litigation cases and has won favorable judgments for clients in several trials throughout Texas.

Mr. Parrish holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Tech University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas A&M University School of Law (formerly Texas Wesleyan University School of Law). While attending Texas Tech University, he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. While attending law school, Mr. Parrish was elected to serve on the Student Bar Association Board for each of his three years of law school, having served as a Class Representative during his 1L year, as the Social Chair during his 2L year, and as the President of the Student Bar Association during his 3L year. During law school, Mr. Parrish clerked at a litigation firm in downtown Fort Worth, from 2008 to 2009. Thereafter, Mr. Parrish worked as an Associate Attorney with a litigation firm in downtown Fort Worth from 2009 to 2012, wherein he engaged in an extensive motion and trial practice that typically required him to make several court appearances each week representing financial institutions in commercial litigation.

Mr. Parrish has been selected as a Rising Star by Texas Super Lawyers (Thomson Reuters). Additionally, Mr. Parrish has been selected as a Top Attorney in Fort Worth, Texas Magazine for both Oil and Gas and Business Litigation since 2012. Mr. Parrish is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, the Tarrant County Bar Association, and the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association. Additionally, Mr. Parrish is a Past-President and current Ex-Officio Director of the Board of Directors for the Texas A&M School of Law Alumni Association. Mr. Parrish is licensed to practice law in the States of Texas and New Mexico and his admissions include the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas.
